Hello, my name is Elisabeth, and I am from Atlanta, Georgia, USA!

I am 17 years old and a full-time college student. I love reading classic American and European literature, learning about global history and politics, and travelling around different parts of the world. I also have a passion for music, and I play the violin, piano, and I sing.  

I just recently moved here with my mom, a native of Písek, to experience some new adventures on the “other side of the pond.” While I can hold a decent conversation in Czech, I find the grammar very challenging, and it is always tripping me up. As such, I can completely understand the struggle of not only learning a language but truly living and immersing yourself in it. 

I look forward to getting to know and speak with you, and to sharing with you a bit of my home, language, and culture!
